* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Coastal Palm Beach County.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents across all
Southeast Florida beaches today.

Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across
inland portions of southwestern Florida today. Lightning and
locally gusty winds are possible with any thunderstorm activity.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tonight through Saturday.


An elevated risk of rip currents will remain in place across the
Atlantic Coast beaches through the weekend.

Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms will be possible each day
into early next week. The most likely areas for thunderstorms
would be over Interior and SW Florida.
